Trip Payments

The price per student is $2,599.

Check the itinerary for details, but this price includes almost everything except for travel day meals.

Signing up for the trip is a commitment, as all payments are non-refundable.

Please know that if you have an emergency and are unable to go – the type of emergency that is covered by the included travel insurance – your money will be refunded through your trip insurance.


Payment Details:

Due by 3/2/17:  $100 payable to SAA Choral Boosters (this will be the only payment made to SAA Choral Boosters – all following payments made to WorldStrides)

Due by 3/31/17:  $300 due to WorldStrides

Balance of $2,199 payable to World Strides as follows:

12 payments of $183.25 every 30 days by automatic deduction from your bank account.


Scholarships/Financial Aid:

World Strides does have scholarship/financial aid programs available, but at this time, SAA Choral Boosters does not have any information about what scholarships may be available or what the criteria/requirements/deadlines are. Please see and/or contact them for more information. This information should be available after we have submitted our group registration fee and the company has set up our account. We will let you know when that has been done.


What about fundraising?

The SAA Choral Boosters are busy putting together fundraisers to help your students pay for their trip.  Three fundraisers are planned for Spring 2017 and more are scheduled in the Fall. One of the fundraisers started Tuesday, 2/21/17. If you are interested in that fundraiser (Papa Murphy’s Peel-a-Deal Cards), please see Mr. Watkins to get started. Information about other fundraisers will be announced in class.

A few notes about fundraising:

  • Deposit payments and the first payment of $300 to WorldStrides can not be made with fundraising.
  • All fundraising monies will be applied to your LAST payment, and then the 2nd from the last and so on.
  • In order to participate in fundraisers, the student and their family must be Booster members.
  • Any funds raised, but not used, for the student trip will become the property of the Boosters and cannot be applied to any other payment due the Boosters nor credited toward the Companion tour of any future travel. The Boosters will use these funds for the benefit of the SAA Choral Department.
